0px;"> </p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">In the past, I have defined myself by what I was able to give or provide for others from my external resources. If you needed something and I had it, it was yours. But changing times challenged me to redefine my giving from what I had to give “in my pocket” to what I could give from my heart – from my soul.</p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px;
margin: 0px;">There is a scripture in the Bible that describes the disciples Peter and John meeting a beggar and telling him that while they had no money, “such as I have, give I unto you.” This response has struck me so profoundly that it leads my endeavors through 2026.</p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">I no longer allow my physical resources to hold my ability to give hostage. Today, with every
encounter, I think, “such as I have, give I unto you.” Sometimes it is a smile, a touch, or being fully present. Other times, it’s my time, or my unwavering faith and resolve that you will become everything you were created to be. </p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">This Easter season, I encourage you to look within and find the sacred gifts that will not only replenish your soul but, when you give

We wish for something different and may even try to force life to unfold the way we want, instead of embracing what truly is or how people truly are.</p><p style="line-height:

I bid them adieu saying, <i>“As I find myself, maybe I’ll find you again.”</i> Today I'm experiencing immense freedom, embracing the good, the bad, and even the ugly—trusting that every part of this journey was made for me. </p><p style="line-height:

At the year’s end, I ask myself if I have been present in 2023 or just pushing through it.</p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="line-height: 1.5em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">It’s so easy to get caught up in the doing of things and miss experiencing our greatest gifts. Today I celebrate the times I chose to remain present and
