JUST BREATHE
Holiday times are special as we celebrate Christmas, other family traditions or simply connecting with those we love. Unfortunately, they can also be filled with stress and anxiety.
No matter how much we worry, the truth is that we only have control over the present and our current actions.
The next time you feel stress or uneasy this season, consider using a breathing centering technique to regain your calm. Let’s practice, shall we?
When you breathe in, imagine your breath saturating all areas of dis-ease in your body, and as you breathe out, imagine your breath expelling every toxin and pain out of your body. You can even say your favorite declaration, intention, or scripture as you breathe
out to add another dimension of calm.
Here we go: Close your eyes. Breathe in… 1,2,3,4,5.
Breath out… 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. Repeat until your thoughts return to the present and your heart receives the calm of your respirations.
