Such as I Have, Give I Unto You
As we approach the sacred season of Easter (Resurrection Sunday), I remember that love is about the gift – and I give my love to all of you.
In the past, I have defined myself by what I was able to give or provide for others from my external resources. If you needed something and I had it, it was yours. But changing times challenged me to redefine my giving from what I had to give “in my pocket” to what I could give from my heart – from my soul.
There is a scripture in the Bible that describes the disciples Peter and John meeting a beggar and telling him that while they had no money, “such as I have, give I unto you.” This response has struck me so profoundly that it leads my endeavors through 2026.
I no longer allow my physical resources to hold my ability to give hostage. Today, with every
encounter, I think, “such as I have, give I unto you.” Sometimes it is a smile, a touch, or being fully present. Other times, it’s my time, or my unwavering faith and resolve that you will become everything you were created to be.
This Easter season, I encourage you to look within and find the sacred gifts that will not only replenish your soul but, when you give
them, also enrich the world in which we live.
If you need a partner to bring out the very best in your life, I'm an email away.
